A quick video of the Denix Schofield non-firing replica revolver. Originally manufactured from 1875-1878, the revolver took its name from Major George W. Schofield of the 10th Cavalry. They were quite popular in the American West among Wells Fargo agents, outlaws, and of course, the Cavalry. I was happy to see this awesome gun show up in the video game Red Dead Redemption, and obviously, it makes its appearance in many western movies such as 3:10 to Yuma and The Long Riders. The Denix Schofield replica comes in nickle or black finish, and makes a great prop gun for costuming or theatrical events.
