Here’s a quick vid of the Denix-made Kentucky flintlock non-firing replica rifle. The manufacturer specs indicate that it is 45″ long, but my measurements put it at 42″ overall length. Please keep in mind that an authentic Kentucky flintlock would be over 65″ long. This Denix reproduction is classified as a shorter length carbine version, or a “plains rifle”.
It has wood stock, brass fittings, and complete with a wooden loading rod. This rod is removable from underneath the barrel. However, the barrel is plugged, and the tamping rod cannot be inserted into it. Great for display, costume, or prop use. More Colonial Replica Rifles at Replica Armory.
